Frequently Asked Questions Better Business Bureau Report

How can I integrate my new domain into my online business presence?

Contact your web designer or your current web hosting provider. Usually they can add the domain to your present account. Alternatively, we can forward your new domain to any website at no additional charge.  If you need more help, our partners at Internet Business Consulting and Business Development have dedicated account managers who can design a custom development plan to fully develop the domain into a keyword domain website that will enhance your core site and search engine traffic.

Are there any other fees?

You will only ever pay us once. The fee we charge covers the current term of registration and transfer of ownership. After our transaction is complete, you will own the domain as long as you continue renewing it year-to-year, just as you do with your other domains.

How do I know that you own this domain and are able to sell it to me?

This is easy to verify. Go to any online Whois database (whois.net, whois.sc, etc.) and type in the domain name. WHOIS services provide public access to data on registered domain names, which currently includes contact information for Registered Name Holders.  You will see it return our information. For comparison purposes, try it on your own domain name.

How long will this process take?

The process is very quick. It can be accomplished in as little as a few minutes (in most cases), though since we have to process them by hand, it can sometimes take up to a day depending on our volume. We will transfer the domain into your account at the holding registrar, or create an account on your behalf,  and then have you verify receipt of the transfer.  However, in rare circumstances where a domain has just traded hands, the ICANN rules state that there must be a 60 day lock until the domain can be moved again. In this case, we will set the closing date in the contract to reflect the last day after the lock period has ended.

This domain used to be mine! Why did you steal it?

We only purchase domains that are being deleted from the Internet's registry. These domains went through an extensive three-month grace period, and were finally dropped from the Internet's registry database. If you were the former owner of this domain, and someone took it from you, it was not us. We only invest in domains that have completely cleared the deletion process.

I can register a domain for $10, why are you more expensive?

Domain names are the Internet's version of real estate, and just like physical real estate, they can and do appreciate in value once registered. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!  Naturally, the first time any certain name is registered you will pay just the fee for registration. But like any item that's unique (as domain names are unique, there is only one business.com), once it's registered, its value begins to rise. For instance, when shop.com was first registered in 1994 it cost less than the price of lunch, but that didn't stop someone from purchasing it in 2007 for $3.4 million on the aftermarket. Browse through DNJournal, a trade magazine for domain name sales that is updated weekly, for an idea of how much domain names can sell for.

We are not a registrar, like GoDaddy or others. We are an aftermarket domain name brokerage service; it is a competitive business, with many other companies vying for the same pool of domain names. We must ensure that we cover our costs of business, and if we purchase a domain name that we don't sell, we take a loss. Other similar companies charge many thousands of dollars for the same sort of domains we sell. We think our price is fair for both us and our customers.  Our goal is quality domain names at competitive prices and will be happy to offer you a 30 day money back guarantee because we are confident that our other customers will be happy to have your opportunity.100% Satisfaction Guaranteed

How can I pay you?

We prefer using PayPal, because it ensures that your private financial information is kept just that way: private. It also enables you to pay us via a credit card where buyers are protected up to $2,000.00, in most cases. Additionally, it gives you the peace of mind knowing that you are doing business with a verified Paypal Pro merchant; if we have any complaints (by the way, we have never had a customer complain in our 5 years in business) it can jeopardize our ability to use PayPal, so it is in our interest to keep our customers happy. We are also a proud Better Business Bureau member since 2008.  Some businesses do prefer paying via check, which we can also accommodate.  Additionally, we do offer flexible plans of 12 months, Zero interest.  Just ask your salesperson for more details about how to get pre-approved for your purchase or contact us here for more information.
